About Tata Tigor EV
Introduction
Tata Motors launched the updated Tigor EV in India in November 2022. The newer Tigor offers a longer range, more features, and a new body colour. Unlike the previous model, it is now available in a choice of four variants — XE, XT, XZ+, and XZ+ Lux.
Exterior
The Tigor EV carries forward the same design as its predecessor. It differentiates itself from the ICE Tigor with distinctive wheels and EV-specific blue design elements. Plus, Tata now offers it with a new Magnetic Red paint job. In addition, the Tigor EV comes with a tyre puncture repair kit and auto headlights and wipers.
Interior
The interior remains unchanged in terms of styling. However, it features a leather-wrapped steering wheel and fresh leatherette upholstery for the seats. Additionally, it benefits from Tata's ZConnect connected car technology with smartwatch compatibility, multi-regen modes, cruise control, and a TPMS.
Electric powertrain
Tigor EV continues to be powered by the same 26kWh battery and an electric motor. However, its ARAI-certified range now stands at 315km. The electric motor delivers 74bhp and 170Nm of torque.

Tata Motors today signed an MoU with Uber to provide 25,000 Xpres-T EVs for the premium cab fleet. Under this joint venture, the Indian carmaker will be aiding Uber in their services across Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Ahmedabad. Tata will begin the deliveries of the EVs to Uber fleet partners in a phased manner, starting this month.
