About Tata Winger [2011-2016]
Summary
The car market in India offers the option to carry a maximum of eight persons in a car but if you wanted to ferry more, there are hardly any options. The Winger van from Tata is an option that will let you transport about ten people at a time without having to squeeze. And it can also be registered as a private car.
The Tata conglomerate has been synonymous with the industrial revolution in India and their foray in automobiles started with commercial vehicles. In terms of competition, there is hardly anything of this size except for maybe the Force Cruiser that transports half a village at a time over the countryside.

User Reviews for Winger [2011-2016]
Tata Banger-Winger
It is a great shame to see TATA motors dumping outdated 1980 Renault Traffic van on poor ignorant Indians as a luxury vehicle. I would have thrown up if I ever had a chance to see this antique delivery van. I would have kicked in the back of Ratan for not using his Jaguar/LandRover experties, but relying on this old banger from a scrapyard. Like picking up 75 year old begger and introduce that to your family as a new 18-year old bride. Shame on him. Ratan needs good bit of spanking. Naughty boy he is. I want to enlighten my fellow countrymen that after Renault/Nissan dumped this model, 3 generations of new models were introduced. i.e. 1984 (banger-winger), 1991, 1997, 2002. Search on Wikipedia.org for Renault Traffic. Ratan is learning from Jaggu (Jagdish Khattar from Maruti), to keep Alto alive for generations. i.e. Maruti 800 => Suzuki Alto in 1984, Maruti Zen => Suzuki Alto in 1992, Maruti Alto => Suzuki Alto in 2000, Maruti A-Star => Suzuki Alto in 2008. Simple Magic.. But everything goes in India with their connection with government official. They pay government a lot to keep 300% import duty to deprive Indians with their basic human rights to own a good standard car.Tata Winger Deluxe is an immensely trustworthy Multi Utility Vehicle
Tata Winger Deluxe is an immensely trustworthy Multi Utility Vehicle which is suitable for a lot of purposes. I own the multi utility vehicle and use it for several purposes like taxi, business activities, travelling with large joint families and luxury passenger transportation. A lot of speculations were rife owing to its taxicab-like exterior. However, I find the styling very fresh and was impressed with features like adjustable headlights, front fog lights, rear fog-lamps, manually adjustable outside rear view mirror with turn indicators and tinted glass. For a multi utility vehicle, I find Tata Winger Deluxe to be well adapted with standard safety features like central locking system, child safety locks, passenger side rear view mirror, door ajar warning signals, side impact beams, front impact beams and much more. When talking about comfort, the interiors of the Tata Winger Deluxe are not as advanced as other cars from its class. However, a number of feature catering a decent cabin environment include quality leather seating, leather covered steering wheel, glove compartment for storage and cigarette lighter. On the whole, the decently priced Tata Winger Deluxe has proven to be useful for many purposes and offers optimum features as well.Tata Winger is diesel engine vehicle and is India's first maxi van
