Kia Sonet Facelift

Model launch date:

The Kia Sonet facelift is expected to be launched in India by the end of 2023.

Feature list:

Exterior:

The Sonet facelift is expected to receive its first update in the form of a minor cosmetic update on the outside, which could include tweaked front and rear bumpers, a new grille, as well as refreshed headlamps and tail lights.

Interior:

As for the features, it will likely get the same 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 4.2-inch instrument cluster, BOSE premium seven-speaker sound system, a wireless charger, ventilated driver and passenger seats, the smart pure air purifier, rear-door sunshade curtain, follow-me-home headlamps, and more.

Engine, performance, and specifications:

Under the bonnet, the Sonet facelift is expected to be powered by the same 1.2-litre NA petrol motor, 1.5-litre diesel mill, and a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine. The transmission options, too, are expected to be carried over from the outgoing model.

Variants:

Sonet facelift will most likely retain the variants available with its outgoing model, including HTE, HTK, HTK+, HTX AE, HTX+, GTX+ and X-Line.

Safety:

The Kia Sonet facelift is not yet tested for safety ratings. Although, it gets safety features like six airbags, TPMS, seat belt warning, ABS, EBD, ESP, hill hold control, TCS, and more.

Competition:

Upon arrival, the Sonet facelift will rival the Hyundai Venue, Mahindra XUV 300, Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Toyota Urban Cruiser, Renault Kiger, and Nissan Magnite.
